Notes - Anderson, Donald J. Passed away July 11, 2007 in Minneapolis at age 77. Donald graduated from Russell High School and attended Brookings State College. He was a past state president of the Minnesota JC's and the charter president of the Mendota Heights JC chapter. He was employed by the Minnesota Highway Department and the Palomino Land Development and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Preceded in death by parents John and Olga of Russell, MN; daughter Donnette (Mrs. Jerry Douglas); brother Arnold of Oklahoma City; and sister Ester. Survived by former wife Donna M. Hoffman, married in Montevideo, MN in 1956; grandchildren Jonathan L. and Megan M. Sullivan; great-granddaughter Kamia Vivian; brothers Carl of Rochester, Norman of Olympia, WA; Walter of Traverse City, MI; and Merlin of Normal, IL; and sister Marion of Salt Lake City. Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 1575 Charlton St., W.S.P. Visitation 10 AM at church. Burial Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Reception to follow at church.
