      Michael Scott Cooper, 63 of Pacific Junction, Iowa passed away April 19, 2019 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born November 9, 1955 in McCook, Nebraska to Keith Regis and Delila Ruth (Thompsen) Cooper.
      Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corp on August 15, 1974. He received a Purple Heart after being shot while serving in Cambodia. Michael was united in marriage to Rhonda Kaye Sego-Hastie on December 6, 1997 in Pacific Junction, Iowa. He was employed as a truck driver for Feed Energy. He loved his pets, reading, going to rodeos, listening to country music and watching old westerns.
      Preceding Michael in passing were his father, sister, Marianne and niece Serena. Survivors include his wife Rhonda Cooper of Glenwood, Iowa; mother, Delila Cooper of Curtis, Nebraska; siblings, Mark Cooper of Papillion, Nebraska; Barbara (Dale) Grobe of Curtis Nebraska; Susan (Roy) Roberts of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
      Interment With Military Honors: Monday, April 29, 2019, 11:00 AM, Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Road, Omaha, Nebraska.
