They all live in the poorhouse in Husum-Ballum. They are called "fattiglemmer" in Danish which could be translated as pauper.
Very poor circumstances. Several of Jens and Kirstine´s children died in the poorhouse. Just like Jens and Kirstine. She hanged herself in her bed....
